Label It Hawaii (LIH) is a grassroots coalition of individuals and organizations who believe in the public’s right to know what kinds of food they are consuming.

LIH was formed in early 2012 with the goal of educating communities about the GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) industry and the legal, ethical and health-related issues around GMO and GE (Genetically Engineered) foods. Tricia (Mama T) Gonzalves, our Community Coordinator, sits on the Board of Directors as the Public Relations Manager for the organization. Mark Fergusson, Down to Earth Chief Organic Office (CEO/CFO) is also on the Board of Directors. To learn more about LIH, visit the Label It Hawaii (LIH) website.
