Mizuna Pesto

An infusion of traditional Japanese ingredients creates a delicious pesto with international flair.

Ingredients
  • 1 package soba noodles

Pesto

  • 1/2 -1 cup packed basil leaves
  • 3-5 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup nutritional yeast
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ½ bunch mizuna
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, or nut of choice
  • Juice of 1 lemon

 

  • Gomasio, to garnish
Instructions

 

  1. Prepare soba noodles according to package instructions. Set aside
  2. Place all Pesto ingredients in a food processor. Blend until well combined.
  3. Toss Pesto with cooked soba. Garnish with gomasio and enjoy!
