Animal Welfare Approved - Animal Welfare Approved by A Greener World guarantees farm animals are raised outdoors on pasture or range for their entire lives on an independent farm using truly sustainable, high-welfare farming practices. 

Certified Humane - The Certified Humane Raised and Handled logo assures shoppers that farm animals are raised on facilities that meet precise objective standards, including kinder and more responsible practices. 

Certified Vegan - The Certified Vegan logo by Vegan Action indicates that a product is free from animal ingredients and has not been tested on animals. 

Cruelty Free - There are several different organizations that certify products as cruelty free, meaning that neither the product nor its ingredients have been tested on animals.

Fair Trade USA - Fair Trade USA Certified food products contain one or more ingredient that is produced and traded in a way that meets Fair Trade USA’s standards for improving the lives of food producers around the globe, which means safe working conditions and a living wage. 

Non-GMO Project - Non-GMO means a product was produced without genetic engineering and its ingredients are not derived from genetically modified organisms. Non-GMO Project Verified additionally means that a product is compliant with the Non-GMO Project Standard, which includes stringent provisions for testing, traceability, and segregation. 

Regenerative Organic Certified - Overseen by the Regenerative Organic Alliance, Regenerative Organic Certified is a certification for food, fiber, and personal care ingredients that represents the highest standard for organic agriculture in the world, with requirements for soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness.

USDA Organic - Organic is the most heavily regulated and closely monitored food system in the U.S.  and it involves a rigorous and multi-step process to require that products with the USDA organic label are grown and processed without the use of toxic and synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, genetic engineering, antibiotics, synthetic growth hormones, artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, sewage sludge and irradiation.
