- 1 cup oats
- 4 cups water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2-3 pitted dates
- 1 tespoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- In a small bowl, cover oats with water. Let sit until oats have absorbed some of the water, about 10 minutes.
- Drain oats and transfer to a blender. For a savory milk, just add salt and water. For a sweet milk, also add dates and vanilla.
- Blend until oats are broken down. Strain milk and transfer to an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
