Garlic Broccoli Linguine
Whole wheat, brown rice or sprouted grain noodles can make for a quick, wholesome meal with a better nutritional profile.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups finely chopped broccoli
- 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces whole wheat or sprouted grain linguine, cooked according to package directions
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil on medium-high until bubbling. Add garlic and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove garlic from skillet.
- Lower heat to medium-low and add broccoli. Toss to coat in oil, cover, and let cook for 10 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another 5 minutes if desired.
- Add lemon juice, salt and pepper, and stir again to coat.
- Toss broccoli mixture with cooked pasta. Enjoy this simple dish as is, or garnish with pesto, red sauce, or grated cheese.
